Please join us on May 2nd from 1-4 for an opening reception of Susan’s new paintings and charcoal drawings of our beautiful valley with refreshments and watch Susan plein air painting in the beautiful garden of Global Eye Shop. The paintings and drawings will continue to hang at Global Eye through the summer. 

Her intriguing charcoal drawings of the Valley’s towns and countryside by Solvang artist Susan Belloni, will be for sale at Global Eye Shop & Studio in Los Olivos starting Sunday May 2nd. Some plein air paintings will also be in the show. Susan has been outdoors painting & drawing - beaches to vineyards - in Santa Barbara County since 1997, after graduating from UCSB with a degree in Art and raising a family. 

In 2002, Susan and others started the nonprofit SCAPE; an all volunteer group of artists who help raise money for local nonprofits through annual art shows. One of SCAPE’s very first shows was at Sedgwick Ranch in the Valley. Susan has exhibited at the Wildling Museum in Solvang, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and the SB Maritime Museum among many other juried, invitational and benefit shows. A wonderful highlight was at a benefit for the Santa Barbara Zoo when a famous actor bought one of her paintings. You can see that painting and others online at www.SusanBelloni.com.
